great title, I know.

Nyxura, aka Nixxi, my lovely drow self. I'm really trying to develop a feel for her character and appearance (which is basically myself, hurrhurr) as well as get a firm grip on my own style with the human, or in this case elven, anatomy. I finally got the Masters of Anatomy book and I think this has really helped. Omg I tried drawing my daughters face while she sat with me in the kitchen the morning I drew this and it was just terrible. Just. Terrible. Sophia is gorgeous what I drew was not. Then I went and looked through the book and really studied the styles, line work, different shapes and everything (also I'm constantly study my own anatomy and everyone else around me). So when I was relaxing with my hubby I came across a quick sketch of Nixxi, which I had gotten frustrated with last year, and then this happened! I really love how this turned out and it was actually so fluent and easy for me to do. I like this type of style and think its going to stick with me, here's hoping Yay! So more people art to come!

I'm thinking about doing this in photoshop also. we'll see
